An ideal shady tree with large, spreading top. The adult leaves, similar to those of a plane tree, are deep cut with a shiny deep green colour.
Produces some fruit in the form of pink berries.
The older adult plant takes on a golden yellow colour in autumn, with some pink on certain leaves.
Can withstand ordinary and even dry soil.

A plant identical to the above, but distinguished by the complete absence of fruit production and foliage of a paler green than the Kagayamae (pale green).

Of interest for planing in areas where the Kagayamae berries are not wanted (colorants in fruit).
