| General assessment |
Because of its very large number of male flowers and late pollen emission period, this is an excellent pollinating agent for the second half of the Lara female flowering period and the whole of the Franquette female flowering period.
Because of its early maturity, it can be separated when the principal variety with its later maturity date, is harvested; it is the pollinator of this variety.
Its fruit is too small for nuts sold fresh, but it is a good-quality nut for the production of high-quality kernels. |
