| General assessment |
A variety of great interest in the production of high-quality kernels, because of its quick fruiting and high productivity levels.
Very well adapted to fruit hedge cultivation. Requires severe pruning in order to ensure renewal of fruit-bearing branches and thus prevent reduction in nut size caused by excess production.
To be planted only in fertile soils that can be irrigated. Under these conditions, should replace Grandjean to particularly good effect, this currently being considered the best French variety for the constantly changing kernel market. |
