WALNUT TREES:

Walnut trees are produced from regia stock (common walnut) produced from one-year seedlings and then table-grafted in March using the Cadillac casting method. They are then planted out mechanically in open fields in May.

The young plants are produced in 1, 2 and 3 years in saplings of French and traditional European varieties, American varieties and new varieties.

CHESTNUT TREES:

Produced from green propagation in mist-spray, from hybrid parent roots grown in vitro or by plant proliferation, clones resistant to INRA-produced phytophtora are:
• either cultivated directly on their own roots (Marigoule, Marsol, Maraval, Marlhac);
• or grafted onto resistant stock, for all the old, traditional or new varieties that cannot be made to proliferate direct from cuttings.

Cultivation of stocks and young plants in pots, away from the ground and in mist-spray, for one year followed by mechanical planting out in open fields for a period of 1, 2 and 3 years for cultivation as twigs and saplings.

MULBERRY TREES, COULIÉ ® SELECTION OF ALBIZIAS AND COULIÉ ® SELECTION OF LAGERSTROEMERIAS:

The plants are produced from roots cultivated in vitro, subsequently made to proliferate by herbaceous propagation in mist-spray and then grown in 1.3-litre containers, and may be planted out in open fields for cultivation of mulberry and albizia saplings up to 2.50 metres.
