Origin: Natural hybrid of C. Crenana and C. Sativa, originating from Ardèche

Specific features: When grafted, tends to point very high without branching.
Stocks: Best on direct plant (more branching).
Vigour: Average.
Bearing: Half erect, very little branching.
Fruiting: Quite slow, 4-5 years.
Budding: Early, can be sensitive to spring frosts.
Productivity: Average on grafted plant, best on direct plant.
Diseases: Resistant to leaf rust and ink.
Male flowers: Long-staminate (pollen of limited fertility).
Pollinating agents: All long-staminate C. Sativa + CA 75.
Flowering period: Male flowers 19-30 June. Female flowers: 27 June – 8 July.

  General assessment
Its main advantage is its relative ease of vegetative proliferation. It can become a stock.
