cultivation area:
Quite widely adaptable – South-West and Central West, Brittany, Gard, Ardèche (in 600-650 m zone), Isère.

Specific features: Young tree shows yellow-orange streaks towards the base.
Stocks: Must be grafted onto ink-resistant stocks.
Vigour: Average.
Bearing: Half erect.
Fruiting: Variable, depending on vigour. 2-3 years on trees with reduced vigour, 4-5 years on more vigorous trees.
Budding: Half late.
Productivity: Quite good because of very high fertility of female flowers.
Diseases: Quite resistant to leaf rust.
Male flowers: Long staminate, fertile pollen except for Cambéroune.
Pollinating agents: All long-staminate C. Sativa + CA 75 recommended.
Flowering period: Male flowers 20 June to 2 July, female flowers 30 June – 11 July.

A productive variety, quite widely adaptable, suitable for the fresh market and for industrial transformation. Must have an ink-resistant stock.
